Meet the Author – Elaine Marie Cooper

Elaine Marie Cooper

Elaine has loved writing since she was very young. She also grew up around the historical sites of Massachusetts, nurturing in her a deep love and respect for the birth pangs of the nation of America. This interest, along with her own ancestry, prompted her to write about this era in her award-winning Deer Run Saga: The Road to Deer Run, The Promise of Deer Run, and The Legacy of Deer Run. She is also a contributing writer to the devotional entitled, Fighting Fear, Winning the War at Home, by Edie Melson.

She has been a magazine freelance writer for many years. Her work has appeared in such publications as Better Homes & Gardens and Life: Beautiful.

Elaine is first and foremost a lover of Jesus Christ. She is also a devoted wife, mom, and “GiGi” to triplets. Her only daughter died in 2003 from a brain tumor.
