We Start By Looking Ahead

Posted by Lisa Lickel on May 21, 2010

Every new journey begins with planning, contemplation, and preparation.

Five authors in various stages of life and publishing come together for a joint venture in encouragement — a specific task to uplift and share a positive message.  Not everything ventured turns out “right”; at least, not the first time, but we believe God raises beauty from ashes, makes lemonade out of lemons, turns our mourning into joy.

In the weeks to come, we’ll introduce ourselves, tell you a little about our focus areas, and invite you not only to read, but participate in active discussions and sometimes to share your own stories about a thing well done as our invited guest post-er. We plan to be up and jogging the beginning of June. We’ll feature monthly giveaways through drawings of those of who subscribe and comment with contact information. The first drawing will be for the books of our first guest authors – that’s right, two winners to start. We invite you to subscribe, as well as read, the blog.

Our first Promotion Monday guests will include

June 7 – Cynthia Ruchti and her debut novel, They Almost Always Come Home

June 14 – Dan Walsh of The Homecoming shares secrets of what went right with this sequel to The Unfinished Gift

  1. This is a great picture! Might I suggest it be used as a Reflections in Hindsight logo?

  2. I’m with April. I like this pic very much.
