Meet the author – Lisa Lickel
Lisa Lickel is a Wisconsin author who writes mystery and romance set in the Midwest. She graduated from the UW system with a double major bachelor of science in history and Russian Studies. She and her husband live in a 150-year-old Great Lakes ship captain’s house. They have two married sons and daughters-in-law. Lisa enjoys reading, walking, quilting and talking writing with anyone. She belongs to American Christian Fiction Writers and Wisconsin Regional Writers Association, the Moraine Writers guild and book clubs. Lisa is editor-in-chief of Wisconsin Writers’ Association Creative Wisconsin magazine and of OtherSheep from Written-World Communications.
Her novels include The Gold Standard, a cozy mystery from Barbour; Healing Grace, an inspirational romantic intrigue from Zumaya available both in print and eBook multi-format*, Meander Scar, a contemporary romance from Black Lyon available both in print and Kindle and other eBook formats. Released September 2011, A Summer in Oakville, co-authored with Shellie Neumeier, from Black Lyon, available in print and eBook from Amazon and BN and the publisher.
