Market Monday: Free Ads for your book
Posted by Lisa Lickel on July 2, 2012
Free Classifieds
Why: it’s free – costs only time to design and post the ad
How: Follow lists, like this one:
What: Check out the sites, see how others advertise. Contact some of them and ask how the ads have benefitted, and what else they’ve tried. Besides the above: http://www.usfreeads.com/20325_refer.html and
http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites
When: Schedule your time as best fits your needs, but also consider that people have to glance at information a number of times (like 7, according to neuroscientists) in order for it to really sink in, so don’t be too hasty and give up too soon. It is free, and all.
